EFL courses
UTTA model EFL courses are taught according to UTTA language teaching principles with the emphasis being on effective oral communication and accurate written support studies.
UTTA courses are fully residential with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal prepared according to student requirements. Vegetarian menu available.
Students can opt for the more economical bunkhouse accommodation or staying with host families, which has the added advantage of developing their English more quickly and effectively.
An immersive course consists of 22 hrs tuition plus six hours' active English per week. Active English can be shaped around student work requirements or lighter activities such as musical instruction, art, accompanied shopping trips, walks or swimming trips.
Courses are suitable for students at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, and differentiation is provided to ensure swift language skills development for all. Student language levels on entering and leaving the course are monitored with reference to the CEFR.
